1. An administrative record-keeping system
PetPass is an administrative, owner-controlled record-keeping system. It does not provide veterinary medical advice, disease diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions or prognosis, and it does not create a veterinarian–client–patient relationship.
PetPass makes no legal guarantee that your pet will be accepted for international travel, airline carriage, boarding or border entry. Medical dates and records must be confirmed with your licensed veterinarian.
2. Clinical limits
PetPass stores and displays information you or your clinic provide. Reminders, schedules, vaccine calculators and emergency cards are organizational aids based on general guidance and your data, not a diagnosis or treatment plan.
Vaccination needs vary by pet, lifestyle, region and local law. Your veterinarian decides what your pet needs and when.
3. AI-extracted data
AI document reading can misread dates, product names or doses. Every extracted item must be checked against the original record before you confirm it. Records marked “needs review” are not verified.
4. Cross-border regulatory limits
Travel guides and checklists summarize official sources on the date shown on each page. Governments and airlines can change rules without notice, and individual circumstances (transit countries, breed restrictions, permits) may add requirements.
A “Requirements Met” result means the records in PetPass appear to match our summary — not that entry will be approved. Confirm with the destination authority (for example USDA APHIS, GOV.UK/APHA, CFIA or Australia's DAFF), your veterinarian and your carrier.
5. Lost pet recovery
QR tags and alerts depend on finders scanning them, phone connectivity and email delivery. PetPass cannot guarantee a lost pet will be found. Keep your microchip registration current with your chip's registry as well.
